CPD Accreditation
One of the key criteria we use when assessing courses is the impact on the learner. We ensure all courses we accredit make a significant contribution towards the learners’ development. As a result, we can confidently accredit every course we approve for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
What is CPD?
-
The term CPD is widely used in the training and learning sector. CPD activities support individuals to develop and enhance their skills. They ensure working practices are kept up to date.
-
Many sectors require staff to complete structured CPD, usually a set number of CPD hours per year. Various activities can contribute towards CPD, including e-learning, seminars, conferences, etc.
What does CPD accreditation mean?
CPD accreditation demonstrates that a learning activity, e.g. a training course, has been assessed by an external body and deemed fit to develop the learners’ professional knowledge and skills. It shows the learning activity is of a high quality and aligned with the relevant industry standards. Any certificates gained through CPD-accredited courses directly contribute towards an individual’s CPD requirements.
Why get CPD accredited?
Our CPD-accredited training centres have access to our Approved Centre logo. This can be displayed on any marketing and course materials to set you apart from competitors. Our stamp of approval boosts your credibility, showing learners that your courses have been evaluated by an external body and deemed worthy of accreditation. CPD-accreditation is especially appealing to any learners who are required to complete a set number of CPD hours per year.
