Presentation Skills

Presentation Skills

The Presentation Skills: Train the Trainer course equips participants with the knowledge and techniques needed to deliver effective training sessions. It covers essential topics such as the roles and responsibilities of a trainer, understanding different learning styles (Visual, Auditory, Kinaesthetic), and the communication model, including potential barriers and how to adapt for neurodiverse learners.

Through group activities and reflective exercises, learners will explore best practices for creating engaging training environments, planning sessions, and assessing learner progress. It also covers the importance of feedback and preparation to enhance future delivery.

By the end of the course, learners will be equipped with the tools to effectively communicate and engage diverse learners, ensuring successful and impactful training outcomes. Total learning time: 6 hours.

Subject Knowledge Modules

Our Subject Knowledge Courses, following the Presentation Skills day, deepen delegates' understanding of specific subjects while preparing them to teach effectively. The session starts with a recap and refresher of subject content to assess what learners already know. Trainers will guide learners through lesson plans, providing tips on delivering content at the appropriate level for the target audience.

Learners will also practice delivering a micro-teach session on the subject, including any relevant practical elements, with feedback from peers and trainers. The course equips participants with the skills to teach confidently and engage learners effectively.
